The Barnabas Health Behavioral Health Center (with Monmouth Medical Center Southern Campus Behavioral Health Services) constitutes a freestanding 100-bed acute care psychiatric facility which provides inpatient and intensive outpatient programs for adults and older adults diagnosed with psychiatric and dual disorders.
SUMMARY OF JOB FUNCTION
Responsible to oversee and monitor the operations of physician revenue generating departments within the RWJBH Behavioral Health Network.
Establish internal controls to ensure timely and accurate charge entry and billing.
Monitor monthly revenue reports, identify trends through analytics and ensure all areas are efficient and functioning at an optimal level.
Maintains knowledge of current regulations and policies of Federal,State and third party payers.
Will provide continued education, training and positive reinforcement of appropriate working practices.
Bachelor's degree preferred or 10 years related experience
Knowledge of hospital/physician admission, registration, billing and collection procedures
Analytical skills and the proven ability to meet established deadlines Knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid and third party payer requirements.
Successful completion of hospital and department specific orientation.
