What you'll be doing...
Senior-level member of technical staff interacting with software engineers, network/system operations staff, network/system architects, and vendor partners.
Work on Build vs. Buy decision for Carrier Management capabilities.
Evaluate multiple vendor solutions and working closely with business teams to ensure the solution meets Verizon needs
Provide direction on platform architecture, application architecture, and business solutions to create a single next-generation Carrier Management, Service Qualification, Quote Management for all products and services in the Enterprise.
Proactively perform technology and tooling research, analyze industry trend and create POC's to create an intelligent and adaptable framework for Service Qualification Engine.
Developed the next-generation system architecture that creates a platform that can service future data analytic and AI/ML needs using modern technologies.
Incorporate DevSecOps production deployable solutions across the board.
Lead a high profile, high visibility team that powers Network analytics and strategic thinking.
Drive technical decisions to build tools, create analyses and discover insights for IT systems that optimize the capital plan.
Create actionable, operational, and strategic insights for Business Service across multiple organizations.
Manage a platform that contributes to close to 6 B revenue - Analytic engine that provides Business Intelligence to BSS using.
Network (OSS) and Reference (Industry) Data.
Work in SAFE Agile framework to deliver iterative value.
Partner with the Business community to get world-class quoting, pathing, access recommendation tool that can flex to generate Greenfield revenue, streamline operations and increase margins.
Incorporate SOE, North Star Architecture, Security, and compliance as part of the application delivery framework.
Build cloud-enabled self-healing services and a business continuity plan to ensure 100% uptime.
What we're looking for...

You enjoy the process of solving complex issues while empowering the team around them to do the same. People count on them to have a strong domain experience in application tools, digital delivery methods, and all aspects of production.You'll need to have:
Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience in Information Technology, Computer Science or Information Systems.
Six or more years of relevant work experience.
Experience developing & maintaining operations support systems (OSS) using Java/J2EE, C++, Workflow tools, Oracle, UNIX/LINUX/Solaris.
Experience supporting commercial, 7x24, highly available data systems.
Even better if you have:
Knowledge of all aspects of the Software Development Lifecycle, including SAFe Methodologies and DevSecOps processes.
Advanced project management skills.
Project management proficiency and proven ability to implement and support multiple high-priority tasks.
Ability to build good relationships with business partners, peering IT development, QA, and support teams.
Ability to influence peers without having direct authority.
Demonstrated excellent verbal & written communication skills with experience presenting information to senior leadership and non-technical teams.
Ability to coordinate between onshore and global offsite teams with experience in generating daily/weekly/monthly metrics of offshore SDLC to demonstrate quality/efficiency of offshore delivery.
Strong sense of ownership, urgency, and pride.
Ability to work independently.
