Accounts Payable Clerk

Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable Clerk in KANSAS CITY, Missouri. The role primarily involves managing invoices, ensuring the accurate filing of fleet documents, and maintaining an organized tracking system for Ktags, License Plates, and Inspections. The successful candidate will also be involved in inventory management of tools in the back warehouse. Proficiency in Excel and Outlook is essential for this role.

Responsibilities

• Handle invoicing tasks efficiently

• Scan and file fleet documents accurately

• Organize fleets by tracking Ktags, License Plates, and Inspections

• Conduct inventory of tools in the back warehouse

• Utilize Excel for data management and Outlook for communication

• Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth operations

• Resolve any discrepancies or issues related to accounts payable

• Maintain detailed and updated records of all transactions

• Ensure compliance with standard procedures and policies

• Assist in other administrative tasks as needed Requirements - Demonstrated proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP)

• Proficient with Excel formulas

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines

• Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions

• Experience in a similar role would be advantageous

• Knowledge of general accounting procedures

• Familiarity with accounting software

• Understanding of basic bookkeeping

• Strong organizational skills for maintaining clear, detailed records.
