  • Amentum is looking for a friendly, dedicated, and task oriented Administrative Assistant in Hanover, MD who is eager to learn and facilitate communication in the spectrum management community.

    If you have the drive to stretch yourself to learn, at a basic level, the technical work performed within our community and to aide in the processes and communication necessary to keep things running smoothly. This position offers you the opportunity to be exposed to the highly technical work of spectrum management and develop the skills needed to successfully negotiate and coordinate with a wide variety of different levels within the Department of Defense (DoD) and the larger federal community.

    Administrative Assistant Responsibilities include:

    • Responding to request for information, supporting development and editorial reviews of word documents and presentations, tracking schedules, scheduling training, updating Sharepoint with administrative requirements, and anything else needed to meet mission requirements.

    • Negotiating and coordinate with a wide variety of different levels within the Department of Defense (DoD) and the larger federal community.

    Minimum Qualifications and experience:

    • Associate degree and at least 3 years of administrative experience

    • Must be able to obtain/maintain a Secret security clearance (at a minimum, must receive/be approved for an interim Secret security clearance in order to start) Note: US Citizenship is required to obtain a SECRET Clearance.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Technical Editing experience

    • Experience working in the DOD
