Analytical Microbiological Specialist

• Performs, interprets and evaluates chemical and microbiological analyses

• Monitors trends and summarizes analytical and microbiological information

• Monitors, calibrates, and maintains laboratory equipment and ensures appropriate levels of quality supplies

• Facilitates quality improvement and problem solving

Quals--

• Possess a proven track record of achievement in a high speed, high volume manufacturing environment

• Demonstrable evidence of driving World Class Supply Initiatives to deliver on challenging objectives

• You are confident and competent. You are diplomatic, professional and exercise great judgment in developing and maintaining excellent business relationships within the business

• You have a Bachelor's degree in a science related field of study or extensive micro laboratory/brewing experience (Preferred degrees in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Cereal Science, Microbiology, Food Science, Agronomy, and Chemical Engineering).

• You have at least 6 months experience (negotiable) in quality related processes. I would be open to college graduates looking for experience and their first opportunity.

• You have knowledge of the principles and techniques of microbiology and chemistry

• You exhibit knowledge of laboratory equipment, instrument maintenance, calibration and trouble shooting

• You have working knowledge of statistical methods and computer skills

• Position is for third shift (10P-630A) and some mandatory weekend OT
