Bookkeeper

Description

The Bookkeeper will play a key role in managing our day-to-day accounting needs. Responsibilities include maintaining financial records and reports, performing account reconciliations, assisting in the preparation of financial statements, and ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and balance subsidiaries, general ledgers, and historical accounts.

• Prepare financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information.

• Comply with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying requirements; enforcing adherence to requirements; filing reports; advising management on needed actions.

• Perform bank reconciliations and conduct payroll processing.

• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.

• Assist with budget preparation and audit preparation.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a bookkeeper or similar role.

• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
