Certified Welding Inspector

Job Description

Overview

Insight Global is looking for a Certified Welding Inspector to work with one of our largest engineering consulting clients. As a CWI, you will work on projects in the states of Indiana, Illinois, Kentucky, Michigan, and Ohio, doing structural steel inspections of new construction. You will have a company vehicle to take home and will be able to leave from home directly to the job sites ever day.

Day to Day

- Every morning will get a dispatch call/email with project information (location, time to be onsite, blueprints, etc)

- Report all inspections in internal system

- For travel, you will be paid for drive time from company office to the job site.

- Documentation is done via phone or computer and you will receive a phone stipend

Skills and Requirements

Must Haves

- Certified Welding Inspector certification

- Ultra sonic testing

- New construction experience null
