  • Description

    • Design and prepare engineering documents for specific design components of a project including storm water management design (ESD and structural solutions),

    • Sediment erosion control, storm drain design and computations, water and sewer design, grade establishment plans, maintenance of traffic plans, and right-of-way improvement plans

    • Manage standard to routine design tasks from running reports to performing technical calculations

    • Supervise, coordinate, and review the work of Design Engineers and Technicians

    • Work independently on assignments to generate expected results

    • Coordinate efforts with clients, agencies, various departments, Engineering, as well as other consultants

    Additional Skills & Qualifications:

    • BS degree in Civil Engineering

    • Minimum of 3-5 years' experience in Civil Engineering

    • Licensed Engineer-in-Training (EIT) or working towards it within the next year preferred

    • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Microsoft Office Suite

    • Technical proficiency in all aspects of civil engineering including roadways and streets, grading, stormwater management design, erosion and sediment control, water distribution design, and sanitary sewer design
