We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced 5 Axis CNC Machinist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a background in operating and programming 5 Axis CNC machines, ensuring the production of accurate and high-quality parts.

salary: $70,000 - $85,000 per year

shift: First

work hours: 7:30 AM - 5 PM

education: High School

Responsibilities

• Setting up and operating 5 Axis CNC machines for precise machining operations.

• Reading and interpreting blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications to determine optimal machining processes.

• Selecting appropriate tools, fixtures, and materials for each job.

• Loading and unloading raw materials and finished parts from the machines.

• Monitoring machine operations to ensure both quality and efficiency.

• Making necessary adjustments to machine settings to maintain proper dimensions and tolerances.

• Conducting routine maintenance on machines to ensure peak performance.

• Inspecting finished parts using precision measuring instruments like micrometers, calipers, and bore gauges.

• Collaborating with team members to troubleshoot issues and contribute to process improvements.

The essential functions of this role include

• working in a smoke free environment

• standing for 10 hours at one time

Skills

• 5 Axis (1 year of experience is required)

• CNC

• Milling (1 year of experience is preferred)

• Programming (1 year of experience is preferred)
