    Description

    Lead the day-to-day Customer Order Management operations for the supply chain function. Ensure alignment with global supply chain strategy to deliver operational efficiency to meet customer needs. Develops local Supply Chain Strategy, vision, and goals with the site leader, ensuring all employee work-plans support this strategy. Manages communications and interactions between global Customer Order Management stakeholders and site operations on all order processing and customer matters. Develop and implement Materials and COM strategies to improve overall order throughput and meet financial targets. Continually defines departmental metrics, ensuring full utilization of metrics and data to drive process improvement and work priorities. Improve efficiency in daily operations by developing a comprehensive communication plan that facilitates proactive interactions with customers, ensuring a customer-focused culture. Provide expertise in Global Customer Order Management, facilitating team involvement in system implementations and projects. Utilize key performance metrics to drive process improvement and adjust work priorities as needed. Manages departmental budget and Annual Operating Plan (AOP) Process. Facilitates demand control meetings to drive decision making on forecast consumption, including customer order prioritization and management of demand control analytics. Visits key customers to understand concerns and develop relationships, analyzing customer inquiries to identify recurring user problems, recommend solutions, and identify where order management processes can be improved. Ensure alignment of initiatives and on-going dialogue with multiple key stakeholders, balancing their needs.

    Experience and Education:

    Positions require a Master's in Industrial, or Mechanical Engineering, or Supply Chain Management, or related field and 2 years as a Supply Chain Planner or Demand Planner, Materials Lead, or related position. Alternatively, the employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering, or Supply Chain Management, or related field and 5 years of experience as a Supply Chain Planner or Demand Planner, Materials Lead, or related position. Experience to include: Supply Chain Strategy Development; Develop materials and COM strategies; Defines departmental metrics; Global Customer Order Management; Key performance metrics; Annual Operating Plan (AOP) Process; Customer order prioritization and demand control analytics; Balance Stakeholders.
