    Trane has a new exciting opportunity to join our organization as a VRF/Ductless & Buy/Sell Sales Specialist. In this position you will be providing sales support in the design, application, and selection of Trane VRF, Ductless, and Buy/Sell products. You will be working closely with our specifying engineer, owner, contractor and developer customers. This position is hybrid, meaning you can work from home a few days per week as agreed upon with your Manager.

    What you will do:

    • Responsible for VRF/Ductless & Buy/Sell product sales and growth.

    • Responsible to keep up on industry trends and applications related to VRF/Ductless and Buy/Sell products.

    • Responsible to keep up to date with code changes related to VRF/Ductless and Buy/Sell products.

    • Responsible for identifying and securing Buy/Sell lines to support the business and industry trends.

    • Identify product gaps, develop solutions to minimize the impact, and work with VRF/Ductless Product Management and Buy/Sell factories to prioritize and eliminate gaps.

    • Responsible for maintaining relationships with Buy/Sell lines and providing necessary information such as forecast, pipeline, etc.

    • Responsible for estimating, submittals, and order entry for VRF/Ductless & Buy/Sell products.

    • Work with the VRF/Ductless & Buy/Sell product representatives DTS team to achieve the vision of the best installation experience in the industry.

    • Responsible for providing VRF & Buy/Sell sales solutions that involve teaming with Account Mangers in assigned territory.

    • Build consultative relationships and trust with engineering, owner, and contracting customers.

    • Responsible for supporting engineers and design-build contractors with design, application, and code compliance. (i.e. office visits, lunch & learn, factory visits, hosting factory reps, etc)

    • Provide commercial and high-level technical product sales training to district office personnel and customers as required.

    • Monitor, measure, and modify current processes to meet customer needs effectively and efficiently.

    • Maintain customer satisfaction by investigating concerns, advising corrective action, and communicating with customers, and co-workers.

    • Responsible for keeping abreast of external market conditions and internal requirements related to portfolio. This includes energy rebates, tax incentives, and code within assigned territory.

    • Responsible for internal communication flow to and from the VRF Product Sales Manager regarding Trane VRF/Ductless.

    • Responsible for internal communication flow to and from the Buy/Sell factory representative regarding Buy/Sell product companies.

    • Assists in finding, entering, editing and managing critical data on opportunities.

    • Assists Account Managers in follow up details after the Opportunities have bid.

    • Runs reports and create dashboards on SalesForce to track and support business vision.

    What you will bring:

    • Associate or bachelor's degree in engineering or engineering technology with a minimum of two years' experience in the application, selection, and/or installation of VRF systems; or equivalent combination of education and work experience.

    • Working knowledge of all facets of construction including mechanical, electrical, plumbing systems, etc. preferred.

    • Must be able to travel throughout assigned territory

    • Must possess a valid driver's license for a minimum of 12 months, with no major or frequent traffic violations including, but not limited to:

    o DUI in the previous 5 years

    o Hit & Run, License Suspension, Reckless / Careless Driving or multiple smaller infractions or preventable collisions in the previous 3 years.

    Compensation: $90,000-$100,000 with 10% incentive

    This role has been designated?as Hybrid - Flex for your?day.? While most work must be?done on-site, there is flexibility?to work remotely when?workflow and priorities allow.
