  • ASRC Federal is seeking to identify an Electrician Supervisor with an active Secret clearance in anticipation of upcoming work in Huntsville, AL

    Overview:

    The ideal candidate will assume responsibility for leading, managing, and overseeing projects, ensuring the safe installation, modification, expansion, or repair of electrical systems, conductors, and related materials and equipment in the commercial and industrial electrical sector.

    Responsibilities:

    • Directly in charge of leading and overseeing teams, which include lead individuals, crew leaders, journeypersons, apprentices, and helpers.

    • Plans the layout of project tasks and ensures the timely scheduling of materials, tools, equipment, and other resources to meet project scope, budget, and construction timelines.

    • Holds responsibility for on-site supervision of designated construction projects, trade contractors, and field staff to ensure projects are completed as scheduled, within budget, meeting quality and performance standards, and achieving customer/client satisfaction.

    • Reviews project documents, plans, and specifications, directs construction activities, resolves construction challenges, coordinates field installations, manages project closures, and fosters customer/client relationships.

    • Ensures all responsibilities are executed within established standard operating procedures, adhering to project costs, time constraints, and quality standards.

    • Conducts annual performance evaluations of assigned personnel as directed.

    • Manages project labor reporting to them.

    Requirements :

    Qualifications :

    • Bachelor's degree in Safety and Health or equivalent field

    • Minimum 3 years of site safety experience and in building construction, with a working knowledge of safety/environment principles and techniques

    • Minimum 1 year of field experience required

    • Understanding of applicable Federal, State and Local safety and environmental regulations (EM 385, OSHA, EPA, ADEM, etc.)

    • Computer skills with familiarity with Microsoft Office

    • Team player, leader and motivated to learn and take ownership and accountability.

    • Change agent, demonstrating courageous leadership driving and continuous improvement mindset.

    • Must be a US Citizen. Possess an active Secret clearance or higher.

    • Be able to successfully complete a government issued background investigation.

    Physical requirements:

    • Performance of the required duties will require physical ability to climb permanent and temporary stairs, passenger use of construction personnel hoists, ability to climb ladders and negotiate work areas under construction.

    • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

    • Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

    • Able to work at heights, able to climb ladders, access/inspect scaffolding and roof areas.

    • Noise level is usually moderate to very loud.

    Tools/Technology/Certifications:

    • Must have current safety and environmental training (OSHA 30 hour for General Industry)
