Emergency Medicine Physician - Mobile, AL

Details:

• Addiction clinic in Mobile, AL

• Part-Time (20 hours per week)

• Schedule - Thursday and Friday: 5:00 AM to 1:30 PM

• On-call duty on Saturday and Sunday

Responsibilities

• Provide medical oversight and leadership to clinical staff.

• Conduct physical examinations of patients upon admission and readmission.

• Review laboratory results and ensure compliance with regulations.

• Issue patient medication change orders and supervise nursing staff.

• Be available for emergency management of patient care.

• Refer patients to primary care providers for non-narcotic medical conditions.

• Provide training to clinical staff, including chart reviews and updates on policies.

• Participate in Quarterly Board Meetings to discuss strategic plans and quality assurance.

• Assist in physician recruitment and participate in interviews.

Qualifications

• BC/BE

• Experience in emergency medicine practice.

• Knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations.

• 1+ years of experience in the field of Substance Abuse required.
