Facility Warehouse Supervisor (off-shift)

POSITION SUMMARY

As the Warehouse Supervisor, you will be responsible for directing the actions of warehouse team members who perform receiving, storage and shipping functions in support of plant production operations. From you, this position requires strong leadership skills and working knowledge of warehouse and distribution functions, as you will ensure warehouse operations are safe, sanitary, efficient, and cost effective. You will mentor staff, contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, and ensure operating and safety standards are being met.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Maintain and drive a safe working environment.

• Participate in the total coordination of the warehouse operation.

• Motivate and empower warehouse personnel to achieve budgeted productivity goals and costs for the factory.

• Establish a daily communication strategy with the Warehouse Manager to brief on staffing, overtime needs and any other pertinent information daily.

• Facilitate shift meetings.

• Ensure new warehouse employees are properly trained and current employees receive additional training as needed.

• Mentor and coach warehouse team members and set development goals.

• Handle disciplinary actions as needed for direct reports.

• Perform all other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent

• Experience:

• 2+ years' experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, military, transportation, or related environment

• 1 Year of leadership experience

The approximate pay range for this position is $50,000-$83,000. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as geographic location.
