Field Service Engineer

Overview

• In this role, the candidate will be responsible for the crane repairs for their customers and clients.

• They will be troubleshooting the electrical and mechanical devices.

• You will be operating a stick welding machine to complete minor repairs.

• Perform Service work on various types of overhead cranes (AC and DC)

• Installation of large modification to existing cranes

• Troubleshoot all types of crane electrical control (magnetic, vacuum contactor, and VFD)

• Perform detailed inspections on all types of lifting equipment

• Traveling 85% and go to 2-3 sites a day

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of Field Service Tech/Engineering Tech Experience

• Minimum 3 years of electro-mechanical experience-being able to trouble shoot wiring

• Minimum 3 years of repairing mechanical devices-cranes, elevators for example

• Minimum 1 year of welding experience-will have to spot weld
