    My client is a commercial Real Estate company headquartered in the Washington, D.C. area with a need for a Full Charge Bookkeeper. The role is 100% in office. The Bookkeeper will be responsible for all operational accounting using QuickBooks. Bookkeepers with commercial real estate accounting experience are highly encouraged to apply. The ideal candidates for this Full Charge Bookkeeper opportunity will have experience in QuickBooks, proficiency in managing vendor payables, accounts receivables, bank reconciliations, and preparing monthly financials.

    The Bookkeeper will be responsible for the following duties

    • Post and process Accounts Payable journal entries in QuickBooks.

    • Maintain bank reconciliations for the organization.

    • Record donations and monitor lockbox payments.

    • Code, match, batch, and process check and ACH payments.

    • Assist in preparing monthly financial statements.

    • Help with client billing preparation.

    • Set up new vendors.

    • Assist with collections activities.

    • Process credit card reconciliations, EFTs, and ACH transactions.

    • Handle the processing of 1099s and W9s.

    Requirements

    Requirements: 100% in office

    • 3 + year experience in bookkeeping

    • Proficiency with QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel

    • Ability to process high volume vendor payments
