  • The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Virginia (UVA) School of Medicine seeks applications for a tenure-ineligible clinical faculty position as a member of the Division of Gynecologic Oncology in Charlottesville, VA. The faculty member will be engaged in the full spectrum of gynecologic oncology as well as support benign minimally invasive gynecology services in an academic environment and will join a group of 7 OB/GYN academic specialist (6 gyn onc and 1 MIGS) faculty and 3 PA/NP clinicians. Clinical duties will include an office-based practice, as well as performing gynecologic surgery, and associated call. On a rotating basis the faculty member will conduct outreach clinics in UVA facilities. In addition, the faculty member will participate in undergraduate and graduate medical education.

    Qualified candidates must have an MD or DO and be board-certified or board eligible by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. The successful candidate must have excellent clinical skills and enthusiasm for Medical Education; an interest in clinical research is desirable and academic experience is preferred
