ICC Certified Inspector located in Portland, OR for a leading organization. This role is responsible for performing Special Inspections per code and project requirements. To be considered - must have either ICC Reinforced Concrete, or ODOT certification.

This is a direct hire opportunity with the ability to earn overtime compensation.

Per diem or relocation assistance is available.

Required Qualifications

• Experience performing field testing and inspections on soil, concrete, masonry, and/or asphalt

• Willing to accept the following certifications:

• ICC Reinforced Concrete

responsibilities

• Perform Special Inspections in accordance with code and project requirements

• Interpret project plans and specifications and ensure project requirements are being met.

• Activities will include performing field testing and inspections on soil, concrete, masonry and asphalt.

• Review plans and specifications, performing the inspections accordingly

• Inspect placement of reinforcing steel and post-tensioned cables

• Communicate results with contractors, engineers and others

• Input results and observations into daily reports

The essential functions of this role include

• working up to 15 hrs of overtime per week

• working weekends qualifications:

• Experience level: Experienced

• Minimum 2 years of experience
