Now hiring! Industrial Painter needed to start ASAP. Must have the ability to meet production goals before the end of your shift. Candidates will be painting surfaces of equipment, ing knowledge of surface preparation and painting techniques using spray painting equipment, power tools, and other work aids. Responsibilities

• Cleans, sands, and applies chemical solutions to prepare and condition surfaces prior to painting

• Mixes and thins paint or other coating to specified color and consistency according to standard formulas or color charts

• Masks and covers surfaces not to be painted. Sprays specified amount or thickness of primer or protective, decorative or finish coatings such as paint, lacquer, sealer or enamel, on to prepared surfaces

• Strips, sands, masks, and re-paints surfaces and blends and polishes finish to match surrounding areas, manually or using portable power tools

• May set up portable ventilators, exhaust units, ladders and scaffolding prior to painting

The essential functions of this role include

• working in a smoke free environment

• wearing steel toe shoes

• working in a non-temperature controlled environment

• standing for 6 hours at one time

• working up to 6 hrs of overtime per week
