    Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    Consult with sales team and our healthcare client on the layout, design, and space planning of healthcare and corporate office furniture as well as architectural products (demountable walls and modular casegoods) for client's facilities.

    Travel to client's location within Jacksonivlle to meet, discuss options, present layouts, and new design ideas to their internal team.

    Provides highly engaging professional customer interface by attending client planning meetings to determine furniture needs and develops creative, unique solutions to meet these needs.

    Perform test fits, programming, space planning, furniture selection and detailed design and specifications, selection of fabrics and finishes, as-built drawings, block plans, space plans and finished working drawings for installation.

    Material & color selections - Prepare presentation material including color and material finish selections.

    Develop 3-D renderings via CET to relate design ideas to customer

    Healthcare furniture research, selection & specification.

    Offers technical design and creative consultation to customers by answering both routine and highly specialized questions regarding healthcare furniture, architectural walls and modular casegoods.

    Coordinate, develop, and review proposed project designs and construction plans.

    Provide electrical and floor core locations and dimensions related to furniture placement.

    Create detailed installation drawing packages of furniture and architectural wall products.

    Develops project specifications, performs spec checks against plans and quotes and assure specifications are ready for order entry via Configura CET software. Manages changes and revisions as requested by the customer.

    Provide on-site job inspections comparing construction drawings to final build-out.

    Work with installers to ensure installation meets customer specifications; complete punchlists.

    Job Skills Required:

    Three to five years' experience with healthcare furniture product knowledge, furniture design and furniture specification software - knowledge of Configura CET highly preferred.

    Three to five years furniture dealership experience required (healthcare preferred)

    Computer literate (AutoCAD, Revit, Configura CET, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Bluebeam, Photoshop and SketchUp). Configura CET experience highly preferred.

    Knowledge and experience in designing and specifying demountable architectural wall products and modular casework highly preferred.

    Knowledge in space planning, typical development and input of systems furniture, demountable architectural walls and modular casegood layouts into AutoCAD, Revit, and Configura CET.

    Working knowledge of applicable building codes, ADA regulations.

    Energetics and strong customer service skills with a desire to go above & beyond to assist others. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

    Detail oriented, organized and ability to work with mathematical concepts.

    Ability to multi-task, prioritize & initiate action in a timely manner.

    Ability to demonstrate initiative and to work with minimum supervision.

    Ability to travel as needed to client's site within the Jacksonville area.

    Qualifications:

    Education/Experience:

    Bachelor's degree in interior design from a 4-year college or university required.

    Interior Design degree from a CIDA accredited university preferred.

    Interior design license, NCIDQ, LEED AP preferred.

    Minimum three to five years professional experience in the healthcare furniture/interiors.

    Previous experience in contract furniture dealership highly preferred and is a baseline.

    Knowledge and experience in the healthcare industry highly preferred.

    Proven experience in providing highly engaging customer interaction required.
