    The IT infrastructure and systems administration focuses on designing information systems that are appropriate for users' needs and consistent with the overall design of the organization's information systems architecture. People managers are responsible for enabling teams to execute through clear goal setting, facilitating work, maintaining accountability, applying differentiated performance management, and driving team results. They also drive results for Intel by inspiring their people, role modeling our values, developing the capabilities of others, and ensuring a productive work environment.

    In this role responsibilities include, although not limited to:

    • Aligns strategy, business processes and key business outcomes with executive and senior business unit leaders to deliver value in the form of solutions, services and support business organizations and users.

    • Understands, defines, and prioritizes needs as they relate to IT requirements and develops methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria to obtain results.

    • Drives programs, business initiatives, new cross organizational projects and devises methods and procedures on new or special assignments and projects.

    • Oversees the installation, system upgrades, migrations, outages and provides ongoing maintenance support for computer systems, software, hardware, and network components.

    • Develops project estimates, timelines, milestones, resource coordination, drives reporting process required for projects, including status, risks, scope changes, etc.

    • Monitors the success of IT initiatives and projects and evaluates processes, tools, and technologies to identify areas of improvement.

    • Sets priorities for the team, gets results across boundaries, develops employees, and manages performance.

    • Exemplifies Intel's core values, supports the advancement of Information Technology as a value driver for Intel's future.

    • Responsible for enabling teams to execute through clear goal setting, facilitating work, maintaining accountability, applying differentiated performance management, and driving team results.

    In addition to the qualifications listed below, the ideal candidate will also have:

    • Strong relationship building and influencing skills; able to mediate opposing viewpoints; work well in a team environment.

    • Strong organizational skills and experience working with decision makers in a fast-paced, matrixed organization.

    • Excellent written, visual, and oral communication skills are essential.

    • Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and vendors.

    • Strong leadership skills to guide and motivate the IT team.

    • Demonstrated commitment to staying updated on emerging technologies and industry trends.

    Qualifications

    You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

    Minimum Qualifications

    The candidate must have a bachelor's degree in computer engineering, Computer Science, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field and 6+ years of experience -OR- a master's degree in computer engineering, Computer Science, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field and 4+ years of experience -OR- a PhD in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field and 2+ year of experience in:

    • 6+ years of experience in the semiconductor industry

    • 6+ years of experience in managing IT teams, projects, and budgets.

    • 6+ years of experience in managing relationships with internal business partners, third-party vendors, and service providers.

    This position is not eligible for Intel immigration sponsorship.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • CPA/CMA/CIA certifications a plus.

    • PMP/CSM or other project management relayed certifications also a plus.

    Inside this Business Group

    Intel's Information Technology Group (IT) designs, deploys and supports the information technology architecture and hardware/software applications for Intel. This includes the LAN, WAN, telephony, data centers, client PCs, backup and restore, and enterprise applications. IT is also responsible for e-Commerce development, data hosting and delivery of Web content and services.

    Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in US, California: $123,139.00-$203,801.00

    *Salary range dependent on a number of factors including location and experience

    Working Model

    This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
