Formulation Scientist

A Formulation Scientist position in Morris Plains, NJ is now available through Adecco Medical and Science. In this role, you will be working in the cosmetics industry and evaluating formulas for Research and Development. Under a Sr. Scientist's supervision, prepare samples for testing, weigh raw materials, and perform batching and formulations. This is a minimum 6-month+ temp/contract position starting in April 2024. The work hours are Monday-Friday from 8:00am-5:00pm. The pay range is $25.00-30.00/hr. - depending on your level of experience.

Responsibilities:

Evaluate formulas utilizing instrumental techniques to assess performance.

Perform data collection and data entry.

Prepare samples for testing.

Pre-weigh raw materials and make batches.

Previous experience in the R&D environment, knowledge of formulating technique

Education/ Qualifications:

Minimum High School or GED.

Minimum of 1-2 years' experience in bench formulation skills.

Previous experience in batching, and knowledge of raw materials, and formulating techniques.

Pay Details: $25.00 to $30.00 per hour
