    A mid size Law Firm is seeking a Legal Secretary to join their team on a contract basis five days a week onsite local to the D.C area. The ideal candidate will come from a legal background with experience in the receptionist or secretary space. This person will be supporting multiple practice groups all of which are on the defense.

    Skills and Requirements

    GED or Bachelors Degree

    2 years of legal secretary, paralegal, or equivalent work experience

    Scheduling depositions for the defense

    Preparing legal documents

    Managing calendars/docketing

    Conducting legal precedent research

    Preparing for trials

    The ideal candidate will be a motivated, organized, and efficient team player with experience in insurance defense/personal injury litigation. They should have trial preparation experience. null
