    BAE Systems is seeking a Logistics Specialist to support the Department of Defense (DoD) Joint Common Access Platform (JCAP). The successful candidate will serve at the Fort Meade Maryland site. This position is contingent upon award.

    The Logistics Specialist is responsible for the tracking and accountability of all government and contractor property on the JCAP site. The candidate is responsible for developing and maintaining the Property Management Plan and will play a vital role in all property management requirements including, but not limited to shipping, receiving, 100% accountability and regulatory oversight of daytoday logistics and asset management functions.

    Required Education, Experience, & Skills

    • 8 Years with HS; 6 Years with AA; 4 Years with BS; 2 Years with MS; 0 Years with PhD

    • Candidates with Armed Forces, college courses or associate degree, extensive certification, and additional experience are highly encouraged to apply.

    • Demonstrated knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 52.2451

    • Familiar with requirements for Item Unique Identification (IUID) and Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) marking and tracking of property and reporting information verbally or through spreadsheets and charts compatible with the Microsoft Office suite.

    • Documented experience with presenting material to senior division and program leadership and other government officials.

    • Proven experience with analyzing business process or process documentation to identify areas of improvement and efficiency.

    • Ability to work well independently and as a member of a team.

    • Possess excellent oral and written communication skills along with interpersonal skills.

    • Ability to identify complex problems and review related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions.

    Pay Information

    Full-Time Salary Range: $78760 - $133870

    Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
