    As a member of the Foundry TD Litho Department - Frame Automation Team (FRAT), you will be building software solutions to support the Frame. The Frame is a critical component of every wafer manufactured by Intel. It contains silicon structures that are needed by various lithographic tools for optimal functionality. Supporting the validation and configuration management for each Frame as well as the environments where Frames are constructed are essential to the semiconductor fabrication process and release cycle.

    Roles and responsibilities on this role include and are not limited to:

    • Manage unified design environments and contribute to process automation, configuration automation and continuously evolving solutions.

    • Develop and support EDA tool services to ensure efficient design activities and will also interface with internal as well as industry tools and flows.

    Qualifications

    Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Requirements listed would be obtained through a combination of industry relevant job experience, internship experiences and or schoolwork/classes/research.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • Candidate must have a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field - OR - Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field

    • 6+ months experience with the following:

    • One or more EDA tools like: Synopsys, Cadence, or Mentor

    • Shell scripting, Perl, Python or Tcl.

    • UNIX/Linux platforms.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    Familiarity from coursework or internship or work experience in the following

    • Semiconductor processing/engineering.

    • Familiarity with OA/SKILL/Python

    • VLSI mask design layout and/or verification.

    • Familiarity with Cadence Virtuoso and Klayout

    • Experience in using Calibre DRV and Calibre

    • Familiarity with DRC

    • Familiarity with ICV or IC Validator

    • Microprocessor design, computer architecture, and software/programming.

    • Custom design and verification tools usage, debugging, and flow development - vendor or internal.

    Working Model

    This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
