    Job Duties Include

    - Candidate should be able to develop and implement Manufacturing Process Plans (MPPs) for a variety of electronic and electro-mechanical assemblies.

    - Utilize basic drafting and software programs to develop MPPs, design tooling, support equipment, and process flows.

    - Provide technical guidance and support to manufacturing operators to facilitate assembly performance.

    - Apply lean manufacturing techniques to reduce cost and increase yields.

    - Must have good communication skills and be able to work effectively in a team environment.

    - Investigate the root cause of failures/defects and implement corrective action to support continuous improvement.

    Basic Qualifications:

    Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related discipline from an accredited college.

    This position will be located at a facility that requires special access and requires the selected candidate to be a US Citizen.

    Desired Skills:

    Knowledge in Lean manufacturing concepts and techniques.

    Basic skills in 3D modeling software such as Solidworks and 3D Printing prototyping.

    Understanding the concept of Root Cause/Corrective Action.

    Data analytics.

    Familiar with Lean Six Sigma.

    Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

    Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

    Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
