Mechanic

NOW HIRING MECHANICS IN GRAYSLAKE !!!

Seeking motivated individuals with schooling or automotive experience who are looking for an opportunity to advance in a mechanic career with a great company!

JOB DESCRIPTION:

-Perform maintenance on a fleet of trailer trucks

-Conduct general check list on trailers to ensure they're in working condition such as, checking brake/head lights work and doors open, etc.

-Repair would consist of outer panels, side rails, upright post, inner panels, roof bows, cross members, floors- working with woods and metals, doors, hinges, plates, wheels, tire drums, ABS brakes, electrical work wiring lights if damaged, lift gates, hydraulics, air bags, etc.

-Work on half a dozen trailers per day on average

-Stick welding

-Diagnose any problems with the trailers and document damages/issues in reports

-Order parts when necessary

SHIFT : Mid 5pm/6pm- 1am/2am (can be flexible with start time)
