    About the Role

    Badger is seeking an Onboarding Coordinator to help transform and develop a best-in-class hiring process in support of Badger's top priorities: Recruit, Train and Retain. We're seeking someone who is a collaborator and skilled in providing support to management in both a union and non-union environment.

    What You'll Be Doing

    • Ensures auditing and compliance with internal/external employment guidelines and compliance standards.

    • Responsible for electronically filing all necessary documents in the employee HR files; auditing onboarding compliance, ensuring accuracy of candidate records during pre-hire and onboarding.

    • Gathers, enters, and maintains candidates' and employees' compliance and onboarding data and documentation in systems.

    • Serves as the subject matter expert (providing guidance and support) in the pre-hire/onboarding processes including all regulations and forms governed by the Department of Transportation (FMCSA and PHMSA), Fair Credit Reporting Act, and all other applicable state and federal laws.

    • Guides candidates and hiring managers through a pre-adverse action process (with support of HR management) while ensuring due diligence is done to meet laws and regulations pertaining to non-compliance.

    Qualifications

    What You'll Need for Success

    • High school diploma required or minimum 2 years' experience in relevant field.

    • Customer service experience preferred.

    • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Suite.

    • Strong verbal and written communications skills; able to communicate in a professional manner with individuals from a variety of backgrounds and circumstances both internal and external to the organization.

    The salary for this position will be commensurate with education or work experience.
