  • Actalent is seeking a Senior level Quality Engineer for an innovative automotive supplier here in the Greater St. Louis area!

    Description

    The Quality Engineer will lead and manage the advance quality control activities in coordination with the Launch Engineer to create processes for new automotive launch parts to go into production. This person will serve as liaison between internal and external stakeholders. They will also be the voice of the customer as their mission will be to know customer specifications and order requirements and communicate that to plant personnel.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications:

    A degree is mandatory and at least five years of industry experience post degree. The ideal candidate will have quality assurance experience and can help teach industry knowledge to newer engineers and summer interns.

    Courses from college and real world experience should include: SPC training, completion of blueprint interpretation and GD&T, control plan and FMEA training.

    Understanding of APQP and experience with PFMEAs, control plans and other quality documentation for new product launches.
