    Job Description:

    Responsible for performing inspections, tests, analyses and/or audits of complex products or processes to include microelectronics, precision mechanical, software, test equipment and fully integrated systems to ensure quality standards and compliance to customer and regulatory requirements.

    Essential Functions:

    • Performs Visual and Mechanical inspection to ensure BOM and product quality.

    • Create and maintain company quality inspection plans and procedures.

    • Develop Quality documentation - checklists, travelers, & procedures.

    • Maintenance of Quality Management System (QMS) databases.

    • Implement Continuous Improvement (CI) activities to enhance the quality system.

    • Performs audits of all applicable products from production and records results

    • Reviews and sign-off of Final Quality Inspection Test Reports.

    • Responsible for performing functions associated with Quality Audit on all manufacturing products.

    • Uses sophisticated electronic equipment inspection to collect and evaluate operating data necessary for the successful operation of the unit.

    • Utilizes knowledge of mechanical assembly process to identify defects in workmanship and/or performance.

    • Works with engineering to clarify defects found and assist in recreating failure to help with the diagnosis of root cause.

    Qualifications:

    • Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience.

    • Security Clearance required upon hire: Ability to Obtain

    • Security Clearance required for role: Top Secret

    Preferred Additional Skills:

    • Knowledge and/or experience with NASA Standards, IPC Certifications, GD&T

    • Excellent communication, technical writing and presentation skills

    • Willingness to travel

    • Familiarity with various computing environments, such as Windows, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Edge, Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Teams
