    Welcome! The Realtime Defect Analysis (RDA) team provides defect detection, analysis, and sourcing to quickly identify and mitigate defect excursions in the fab. We collaborate with other process areas to give an early indication of the viability of process conversions.     As an RDA Equipment Project Engineer in the manufacturing facility (ID1) in Boise Idaho, you will work closely with RDA Tool Owners to coordinate equipment related activities and vendor actions to improve the efficient use of tool time and resources. This work will help ensure the RDA tools and engineers are providing critical information to our internal customers in all phases of the manufacturing cycle.

    Responsibilities

    • Vendor onboarding and daily logistical support.

    • Coordinate the installation, modification, upgrade, relocation and maintenance of RDA equipment.

    • Production support including monitoring and reacting to OOC and OOS SPC charts.

    • Transfer of recipes and techniques from R&D.

    • Inspection recipe writing/solving at a basic level.

    • Backup for optical or ebeam tool owner groups.

    • Maintains current records on equipment manufacturers' technical notices, upgrades and safety issues.

    Qualifications

    • Knowledge of semiconductor equipment and processes.

    • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

    • Analysis of large data sets.

    • High degree of organization and detail oriented.

    • Proactive problem solving and data driven decision making.

    • History of working as both an individual contributor and as part of a team.

    Education

    • BS in Engineering or Physics

    • Experience with inspection equipment or other semiconductor manufacturing equipment is preferred.
