    Responsible for ownership of defect monitoring equipment types. Responsible for equipment setup, stability monitoring, capability improvement, and interaction with vendor reps for advanced functionality and application work. Write or modify equipment recipes to support the needs of the RDA area; including both standard ("Process of Record" or POR) recipes and engineering (non-POR) recipes. Monitor and respond to recipe requests to validate completed requests and complete entries and provide the required documentation for any requested recipes. Perform basic and advanced recoveries of down tools for assigned workstations. Monitor tool qual SPC charts for deviations. Initiate tool repair or adjust limits as necessary. Collect and analyze tool and process data and suggest ways to improve performance and efficiency. Review recipe related alarm and error messages on an assigned toolset from tool logs or through alarm reports, document reaction to those alarms, and drive reduction of incidents. Develop tool operation and recipe-writing, and update procedures when gaps or improvements are identified. Collaborate with the Tool Owner to formulate qual plans for new tool installs and communicate plans to the group and engineering management. Notify tool vendors regarding application issues and communicate with the vendor to understand progress, estimated return to production, and root cause of issues. Collaborate with Vendors for results regarding escalation on application issues. Understand the key steps of the main-runner travelers at Fab6. Use defect analysis software, SPC, tool tracking, tool automation, and standard data analysis tools used within Micron. Understand the components of RDA data flow from tool to SPC chart. Write and review technical training materials to ensure clear instruction and accuracy is maintained. Generate new training material as procedures change. Design and/or instruct classes for certification of others, based on materials learned from vendor or on-the-job training or vendor best-known-method documents.

    Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Engineering, Physics, Chemistry or related field.
