Senior Business Systems Analyst

This role provides expertise and systems support in developing and enhancing business systems to provide new or enhanced products to clients or effective planning, reporting, and analysis tools to internal functions.

Essential Functions

• Under general direction, formulates and defines systems scope and objectives based on both user needs and a good understanding of applicable business systems and requirements.

• Devises or modifies procedures to solve complex problems considering equipment capacity and limitations, operating time, and form of desired results.

• Includes analysis of business and user needs, documentation of requirements, and translation into proper system requirement specifications.

• Guides and advises less-experienced Business Systems Analysts.

• Competent to work at the highest technical level of most phases of systems analysis while considering the business implications of the application of technology to the current and future business environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree Computer Science or Business Administration, or equivalent experience and 5+ years' experience working in a Central Laboratory environment.

• Must have experience in the Central Lab business and have experience in gathering and documenting requirements.

• Have the ability to translate product roadmap features to product requirements including features, user stories and acceptance criteria.

• Prioritizes and translates high level requirements into detailed user stories that the development team can execute against.

• Acts as product expert for users, able to bring creative ad-hoc solutions to use cases.

• Monitors and evaluates product progress including outcomes of deliverables, and recommends additional improvements based on internal and customer feedback.

• Monitors and adheres to success metrics, analyze data for insights, and coordinates with partner teams to support business strategies.

• Supports in mitigating impediments to ensure successful completion of Release/Sprint Goals.

• Experience working and writing reports in Power BI or equivalent.

• Experience with SQL is a plus.

The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $105,000.00 - $157,000.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
