We are seeking a passionate learning and development utility player to lead People Development team operations to enable the delivery of world class development experiences across PagerDuty. This includes serving as our team's project manager - managing the People Development team roadmap and project plans, building and executing strategies around how we communicate & promote our development offerings to employees, managing the way in which employees access our learning solutions (via learning technology/LMS, tools, resources), and measuring and analyzing the impact of our programs and experiences. Additionally you will have the opportunity to design and deliver meaningful learning solutions and facilitate experiences to strengthen our culture of continuous learning and growth.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Assume responsibility for operational aspects of all People Development team programs and experiences via multiple modalities (virtual, synchronous, blended, and in-person); including comprehensive project management, logistical support, and planning to enable employees to learn and grow in all phases of their career

    • Manage and administer all learning technology platforms, serving as primary Learning Management System (LMS) admin.

    • Establish a People Development dashboard In partnership with key stakeholders to monitor, communicate/report updates and continuously improve key metrics of learning and development success in terms of quality, quantity and efficiency in addition to how it translates into impact for the business.

    • Develop, prepare, and send centralized communications on behalf of the People Development team.

    • Build and maintain People Development roadmap and global training calendar that outlines all programs for the next 4-6 rolling quarters.

    • Design and create innovative live and asynchronous learning experiences, including course materials such as slides, toolkits, facilitator notes and assessments

    • Serve as key contact for vendor management and partnerships.

    • Research and recommend innovative, and where possible automated approaches to streamline team processes, improve the employee experience, and increase productivity & efficiencies.

    Basic Qualifications:

    • 4+ years of experience in a HR, Learning & Development, or operations role at a rapidly scaling company

    • Experience implementing and/or supporting HR technology (ideally learning management systems) and building e-learning solutions.

    • Ability to work autonomously and effectively in a fast-paced, complex, environment

    • Experience manipulating, analyzing, and interpreting data, communicating reports, metrics, success criteria

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Experience in designing and developing e-learning using authoring tools like Captivate, Articulate 360 and Adobe creative cloud

    • Instructional design experience

    • Experience in eLearning design theories and standards (SCORM, AICC, etc.)

    • Experience with Agile methodology and project management software such as ~~~

    • Video editing

    • Background working with training developers, program SMEs, technical support, and others to ensure training materials are effective.

    • Experience driving automation or standardization leveraging technology solutions

    The base salary range for this position is 100,000 - 153,000 USD. This role may also be eligible for bonus, commission, equity, and/or benefits.Our base salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range, which is subject to change based on primary work location, reflects the minimum and maximum base salary we expect to pay newly hired employees for the position.
