    FleishmanHillard, a global integrated communications agency delivering transformational outcomes for some of the world's biggest brands has an immediate opening for a hands-on, self-starting Senior Vice President with a background in corporate communications, investor relations, financial communications and/or financial services to join the New York office. This position provides a fantastic opportunity for a passionate communications professional with 12+ years' experience to work with the C-Suite and manage dynamic, high-performing teams on behalf of our global clients.

    the Role

    • Develop and execute high-quality integrated media programs from conception to execution to placement.

    • Serve as most senior counselor to existing clients and potential new clients.

    • Use subject matter expertise to contribute compelling ideas for new business proposals and client strategies that drive business outcomes and present them effectively and persuasively.

    • Manage the P&L, staffing models and overall group performance.

    • Work collaboratively and productively with team members across the FH network/globally.

    • Utilize excellent writing skills in development of thought leadership, social content, press releases, executive speeches, Q&A, pitches, etc.

    • Have strong relationships with global, national, trade, and industry-related media and possess social media experience.

    • Oversee IR/Legal approvals for releases/presentations/etc.

    • Oversee releases and messaging for significant M&A activities.

    • Work with External Reporting team and IR to develop Q&A to address any issues that might arise from SEC filings.

    Qualifications

    • 12+ years of integrated investor relations, financial communications, financial services and/or corporate communications experience. PR agency experience is preferred.

    • Solid team leadership and team-building experience is necessary along with the ability to effectively manage programs, projects and clients' budgets.

    • Self-motivated with acute attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple major projects simultaneously.

    • Ability to work fast to meet deadlines without sacrificing quality.

    • Polished executive presence and the ability to consult confidently and effectively with C-level executives as well as other senior counselors throughout the FH network.

    • Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain solid client and media relationships and deliver outstanding results.

    • Strong understanding of how data and analytics can be used to derive insights that support and add value to communication recommendations.

    • Well versed in all forms of social, digital and integrated marketing; continue to drive the adoption of digital practices into all client programs and new business efforts.

    • Excellent writing and editing skills to develop powerful messaging and materials.

    • Proven ability to prioritize, be assertive, and take ownership is essential to success. This translates to strong multi-tasking skills and the ability to effectively motivate staff and clients.

    The anticipated salary range for this position is $110,000-$231,000.

    Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications and geography. A range of medical, dental, vision, 401(k) matching, paid time off and/or other benefits also are available.
