Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking to hire a Spanish Teacher. The Teacher implements the daily instructional plansof the classroom in an effective manner. The Teacher maintains a class environmentfavorable to learning and personal growth and establishes effective rapport with pupils while maintainingproper classroom management. The Teacher works effectively with the buildingadministrator and other teachers.
Meets and instructs assigned classes in the locations and attimes designated
Creates and implements the instructional plans in accordancewith the district curriculum
Maintains a classroom climate that is conducive to learning
Maintains reasonable rules which encourage self-disciplineand responsibility
Guides the learning process toward the achievement of theschool curriculum and goals
Implements a variety of instructional techniques andinstructional media
Acquaints self with and adheres to the policies andprocedures as established by the Board of
Education and Administration in written or verbal form
Creates and implements response to Intervention programs asneeded
Takes all necessary and reasonable precautions to protectstudents, equipment, materials, and facilities
Maintains records as required by law, District policy, andadministrative regulations
Assists the administration in implementing all policies andrules governing student life and conduct
Services as a positive role model for students,demonstrating professionalism that includes a positive attitude, positive and respectful communication,and professional appearance
Holds and communicates high expectations of studentachievement and behavior
Attends staff meetings and performs actively on committeesas required by the administration
Meets expected standards of professional behavior
Performs other tasks assigned by the administration orrequired for the effective implementation of District goals, objectives, programs andpolicies
Administers assessments on a timely basis as directed by administration
Communicates effectively with parents when needed
Provides individualized and small group instruction asprescribed in the daily instructional plans.
Supports the Mission and Vision of the District
Maintains a professional and positive rapport withparents/co-workers/administration/School Board
Supervises classroom students, paraprofessionals andvolunteers
Performs other duties as assigned/necessary
Bachelor's Degree or higher required
Teacher license/certification, as applicable by state ordistrict
Willingness and ability to accept direct responsibility forsafety, wellbeing, or work output of other people
Ability to read and implement instructional plans,correspond with parents and administration, and effectively present information and respond to questionsfrom administration, parent, students, staff members, and the general public as requested
Ability to work with basic mathematical concepts
Ability to solve practical problems
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished inwritten, oral, diagram, or schedule form
Ability to perform duties with awareness of Districtrequirements and Board of Education policies
Meet multiple demands from several people and interact withthe public and other staff
Ability to effectively elicit/provide information to andfrom appropriate individuals (including, but not limited to, supervisors, co-workers, clients) viastrong communication skills; proficiency in the English language may be required
Computer proficiency required
Must be at least 18 years of age
