Sr. Accountant

Description

A company based in Parsippany, NJ is currently seeking a Senior Accountant to join their staff on a contract to full-time basis. The Senior Accountant will join a growing healthcare services organization, and report into the VP of Finance. In this role, the Senior Accountant will be responsible for preparing journal entries (accruals and deferrals), reconciling accounts, account analysis, conducting monthly variance analysis, and assisting with preparing financial statements. Additional responsibilities will include helping with budgets and forecasts. The ideal Senior Accountant will have a minimum of 5 years' experience in accounting, will be knowledgeable with GAAP, and will have strong Excel skills. Recent experience working in SAGE Intacct is strongly desired.
