Sr. Field Process Engineer

Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a Process Engineer to join their team in Hillsboro, OR. As a Field Process Engineer you will be designing, implementing and optimizing chemical processes in semiconductor capital equipment. The day to day may include the following:

• Working with the field teams to support and troubleshoot issues on new products.

• Developing proposals for equipment and process design improvements, and conducting experiments.

• Working closely with the customer to design and conduct experiments to meet the customer's needs.

Skills and Requirements

Must Haves

• Process and equipment knowledge and troubleshooting skills

• Masters degree in chemistry, physical chemistry, chemical engineering, materials science, or physics

*Ability to travel, as necessary and possibly for extended periods of time

• 7+ years of experience in areas of processing, developing and characterizing thin films deposition

• Ability to interact with group leaders or area managers on-client-site, well-versed in de-escalation techniques * Ph.D. in chemistry, physical chemistry, chemical engineering, materials science, or physics null
