Position Details:

• Job Title: Tool Maker/Machinist

• Job Type: Full time; Contract

• Location: Pinellas Park, Florida 33782

• Pay Rate: $21.68 - $36.11 per hour

Basic Qualifications:

• Strong Tool and Die Background: Minimum 10 years.

• Strong CAD/CAM Background: Minimum 5-7 years.

• CNC Programming and Setup: Minimum 5-7 years.

Responsibilities: As a Tool Maker/Machinist, you'll play a crucial role in tooling repair and fabrication. Your tasks will include:

• Setting up, operating, and programming a variety of machine tools (such as lathes, milling machines, and precision grinders) to create metal parts, mechanisms, tools, or machines with exacting tolerances and dimensions.

• Interpreting blueprints, sketches, and engineering specifications.

• Determining the sequence of operations, number of cuts required, and method of setup.

• Using machinist's hand tools and precision measuring instruments.

• Collaborating with ME and quality to determine best practices and machine strategy.

• Programming, setting up, & running CNC machining centers.

• Generating and modifying CNC programs from CAD-generated solid models using CAM.

Pay Details: $21.68 to $36.11 per hour
