Job Overview:

As the Vice President of Infrastructure and Operations at Audacy, you will lead the development and execution of strategies to provide reliable Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) at scale while integrating DevSecOps processes. Reporting to the Senior Vice President of Information Technology (SVP IT), you'll oversee a team responsible for ensuring the efficiency, security, and scalability of our IT operations.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute strategies for delivering Infrastructure as a Service reliably and at scale, while integrating DevSecOps processes.

Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS): Oversee the provision, maintenance, and optimization of IT infrastructure resources to meet business needs efficiently and effectively.

DevSecOps Processes: Lead the adoption and implementation of DevSecOps practices and principles to integrate security into every phase of the development and operations lifecycle.

IT Operations: Manage IT operations to ensure the reliability, availability, and performance of systems and services, meeting or exceeding defined service level agreements (SLAs).

Scalability: Implement scalable solutions and architectures to support business growth and evolving technological requirements.

Automation and Orchestration: Drive automation and orchestration initiatives to streamline IT processes, improve efficiency, and reduce manual intervention.

Security: Collaborate with security teams to implement and maintain robust security measures, ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of systems and data.

Compliance: Ensure infrastructure and operations adhere to regulatory requirements, industry standards, and internal policies related to security and privacy.

Vendor Management: Manage relationships with infrastructure vendors and service providers to ensure quality service delivery and adherence to contractual obligations.

CI/CD Pipelines: Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of CI/CD pipelines to automate software delivery and ensure rapid, reliable, and consistent deployments.

Developer and Data Science Infrastructure as a Service: Establish self-service infrastructure capabilities for developers and data scientists, enabling them to provision and manage infrastructure resources autonomously.

Technical Expertise: Provide technical guidance and oversight on AWS, GCP, Terraform, Terra-grunt, Ansible, Gitlab, Fastly and Cloudfront Content Delivery Networks, Datadog, VMWare, CI/CD pipelines, and self-service infrastructure capabilities.

Team Leadership: Provide leadership, mentorship, and guidance to a team of infrastructure, operations, and DevSecOps professionals, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

Extensive experience in infrastructure, operations, and DevSecOps leadership roles, preferably in the media or broadcast industry.

Strong understanding of DevSecOps processes and principles, with experience implementing security automation and integrating security into IT operations.

Proven track record of providing Infrastructure as a Service reliably and at scale, with a focus on scalability, efficiency, and performance.

Experience leading the design, implementation, and optimization of CI/CD pipelines and delivering developer and data science infrastructure as a service in a self-service manner.

Deep technical expertise in AWS, GCP, Terraform, Terra-grunt, Ansible, Gitlab, Fastly and

Cloudfront Content Delivery Networks, Datadog, VMWare, CI/CD pipelines, and self-service infrastructure capabilities.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve common goals.
