    About the position:

    Reporting to the Northeast Region President, the Region Vice President of Sales, is responsible for managing, coaching, teaching, and training a team of nine focused Business Development Managers. The ideal candidate will possess a strong attention to deal, a proven track record in employee development, and experience in B2B sales. The position can be based out of New York City, or Shelton, Connecticut and the territory includes the New England states as well as New York and New Jersey.

    Responsibilities:

    • Responsible for the entire sales process in the Region.

    • Establish specific and measurable goals for the team that align with the Region's overall objectives and growth targets.

    • Monitor, track, and manage the sales team's performance.

    • Provide the training and development of each member.

    • Excels at relationship building and deal closing.

    • Collaborate with leadership to create strategies and initiatives that address growth needs.

    • Maintain and advance sales forecasting by effective utilization of the SalesForce pipeline.

    • Use data-driven insights for improvement and optimize the sales process.

    • Recruit competent new sales staff and build an exceptional sales team.

    Qualifications:

    • 7+ years progressive experience in sales, preferably in a service industry.

    • Proven track record in managing and directing a highly skilled, motivated, successful, and results-oriented sales team.

    • Strong relationship management and the ability to engage and motivate multiple individuals across the organization.

    • Excellent communication skills and the ability to apply these skills in either verbal or written form when interacting with various firms, clients, and team members.

    • Must be resourceful and a creative problem solver - constructively working with team members to find solutions and able to communicate those back.

    • Highly motivated, confident, energetic and possess a positive attitude.

    • Demonstrated sales leadership.

    • Availability to travel up to 25%.

    This position offers a base salary of $175,000-$200,000 and an annual bonus opportunity. Benefits include medical, life, dental, and vision insurance, ten vacation days, four floating holidays, six sick days, and bonus eligibility.
