  • Chase Dining, a part of Connected Commerce, is hiring for a new role focused on supporting the restaurant industry via advocacy and marketing. The objective will be to generate connections with The Infatuation, Zagat, Chase Dining, and all Chase lines of business that interact with restaurants.

    As the Vice President, Restaurant Industry Advocacy & Marketing in the Chase Dining Strategy & Activations team, you will report directly to our Vice President, Restaurant Relations & Dining Benefits and will be responsible for connecting work with restaurants across multiple Chase business initiatives. You'll be working alongside the Corporate Development, Chase For Business, Chase Card, Government Relations, Communications, and Dining teams who all share a passion for supporting the restaurant industry.     Job responsibilities:

    • Develop a strategy and pipeline for connecting with restaurant associations and other dining industry groups through regular meetings with stakeholders at Chase Dining, The Infatuation, Zagat, and various Chase lines of business

    • Direct the vision for restaurant industry partners and associated benefits by recommending, evaluating, and collaborating across business lines at Chase on the package offerings, including being the primary point of contact for the new Chase partnership with key industry organizations

    • Guide restaurant focused marketing efforts and process for sponsorships and entertainment that support the dining industry, potentially leading the organization of seminars, conferences, and events on relevant topics for restaurant owners and workers

    • Determine and execute solution for Chase Dining database to document restaurant relationships and partnerships, including contacts, agreements, and benefits, for stakeholder visibility throughout the firm

    • Evaluate impact of dining industry and restaurant relationships across different initiatives, determining a way to effectively measure success with help of the Insights team

    • Convert restaurant relationships formed by one line of business at Chase and connect through impactful introductions to other Chase business initiatives, as well as construct an effective procedure to review potential Chase Dining business opportunities

    • Support restaurant industry advocacy efforts by engaging in consistent dialogue with restaurants on business challenges and actively attending industry conferences, while constantly sharing these learnings and suggesting solutions to the broader Chase team

    • Conduct joint research efforts to understand pain points and priorities for restaurants to showcase industry insights and produce whitepapers working in conjunction with Communications team and other lines of business

    • Manage multiple initiatives and deliverables simultaneously by being proactive and results driven with the ability to prioritize in a constantly evolving environment with competing preferences and stakeholders

    • Build presentations to highlight dining industry partnerships/sponsorships, inclusive of thoughtful research, evaluation criteria, KPI measures, and point of view, in addition to applying competitive insights on comparable partnerships in the financial space, staying up to date with industry news and trends, to continually advance restaurant offerings by Chase

    Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

    • 7+ years working in a charitable organization or industry advocacy group, with a majority of work focused on restaurants

    • Experience overseeing a partnership from idea through execution

    • Ability to connect the dots between initiatives

    • Naturally client-centric with an inclination to advocate for partners

    • Skilled at creating compelling presentations for leadership

    • Strong networking skills and thorough follow-up

    • Ability to understand the big picture, while paying attention to the details

    • Passionate and knowledgeable about restaurants/bars, food/beverage, and travel

    Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

    • Bachelor's degree

    • Experience with PowerPoint, Keynote, and other presentation tools

    • Familiarity with restaurant operations and dining experiential
