Green Politics

What is the agenda of the green movement. You will notice that I did not use the word environmentalist. I am also not referring to those who don't want forests stripped to desert or coal mines ripping off mountain tops leaving gigantic craters. No sane person wants polluted rivers or concrete and asphalt on every acre of America. But the green movement is different.

Green Peace was founded by sane people who wanted prosperous man and environmental common sense. The founders were driven out of the group though. The people doing the driving had an agenda completely foreign to logic. Complete de-industrialization.

If this mode were to be followed, utilities would be shutdown, regardless of the lack of immediate replacement. The taking of wood from forests would stop so that homes would rot where they stood. There would be no new oil drilling and closing down of current drilling, so people would freeze in winter. As a matter of fact, no new refinery for oil has been built in decades because of the movement. I could continue on and on about the insanity.

The results would literally be a living standard that was pre-industrial. 100's of millions of people would die. And this really is the green agenda that isn't published in the media or spoken by its advocates too loudly.

Prince Philip of Great Britain, a leading advocate of the extreme green movement said that if he could be reincarnated, he'd liked to come back as a virus to kill people. He believes the world is overpopulated which is interesting because the royalty of Greece thought the Trojan War was caused by overpopulation. This idea is behind the Green Movement and de-industrialization.

Most of us must, of course, pay with our lives to get the Earth's population down to 500 million people as they wish. Then machines could do the jobs for everyone with the benighted distributing wealth as they see fit. Of course, the benighted never are asked to give their lives.

Now let's do a fact check. If you took a standard globe from high school, how large a circle would you have to make to fit every person on earth in that circle with comfortable standing room? Would you believe, a dot the size of the period at the end of a sentence. Another fact, denser population areas have the highest concentration of wealth and standard of living. Look at Hong Kong, Manhattan and Tokyo.

It's government policies that lead to hunger and bad land management that leads to environmental problems, usually by poor countries. Poverty is not created by population, it is created by government and a bad economic system.

Also, the lack of resources in this world is caused by governments too. We inhabit just the crust of the earth. There are large reserves of resources untapped that would be unlocked if the industrious were allowed to get at them. And it could be done cleanly too.

The resource crisis is created by environmentalists. They then use the crisis they created to blame the rest of us for being greedy hoarders. The world can't support two United States. Really, it couldn't have supported one United States of today 100 years ago.

The mineral wealth assumed to be on this earth always goes up not down as the decades advance with technology; until the green movement and their self-fulling prophecies become a reality.
