Use Endorphins to Keep Your Life Upbeat and Positive

If you are going to be successful in your career change or job search, you need to keep yourself as positive as possible. With that thought in mind, if you could have free, 24/7 access to a pharmacy that is totally organic and would help you prevent illnesses, stay more positive, live happier and longer, would you want to know about it? I am referring to what your body does naturally. It produces something called endorphins. The scientific explanation, says "endorphins are endogenous, opioid peptides that function as neurotransmitters released into the blood stream from the pituitary gland, and into the spinal cord and brain from hypothalamic neurons."

Naturally Produced
In other words, endorphins are a morphine like substance that are naturally produced by your body. Engaging in activities that will help your body produce endorphins is one of the methods you can use to keep yourself upbeat in your quest that will be, no doubt, fraught with disappointments and setbacks.

Different Types of Activities
There are several different types of activities that you can participate in that will increase your body’s production of endorphins. When someone refers to a “runner’s high”, they are referring to the body producing endorphins from participating in an aerobic activity like running. Some of the other activities you can participate in that will help your body produce endorphins are:


• Naps
• Interacting with pets
• Eating
• Exercise
• Sex
• Music
• Laughter
• Outdoor and indoor gardening
• Self development classes
• Reading a good book
• Watching an upbeat and entertaining movie
• Sunshine
• Hugs
• Smelling pleasing scents and aromas

Use on a Regular Basis
I might add that according to Dale Anderson, MD, the top three activities ranked for producing endorphins are exercise, laughter and sex. The key to using the above activities listed is to make them part of a regular routine, and to schedule them into your life, so that you can enjoy them on an ongoing basis. Life is too short not to be upbeat and positive as much as possible. By using some of the suggestions listed above, you will be able to make it a truly enjoyable experience.
