The American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA), the national not-for-profit association established in 1863 & representing over 100,000 veterinarians working in private & corporate practice, government, industry, academia & uniformed services, is seeking a Senior Manager of Digital Communications to join our Marketing and Communications team at our HQ office in Schaumburg, IL, a northwest suburb of Chicago.
Reporting to the Chief Marketing & Communications Officer, the Senior Manager of DigitalCommunications will develop & execute strategies that advance AVMA's digital communications efforts, enhance brand & member experiences, & produce meaningful insights that positively impact the organization. They will consult with internal partners to understand overall objectives & how they relate to AVMA's digital platforms, identify strategic challenges & opportunities, & lead the evolution of AVMA's digital platforms to effectively meet those objectives. They will produce actionable roadmaps that lead to measurable outcomes & meaningful digital experiences in support of AVMA's identified target audiences. In addition to digital communications strategy & platform management, the Senior Manager will oversee analytics initiatives & provide data & insights to relevant internal stakeholders. The position's digital portfolio includes ~~~, the Association's staff intranet, analytics tools, reports, dashboards, surveys & other digital mediums. As a leader on the Marketing & Communications team, the Senior Manager will oversee, manage & mentor three team members. Up to 5% travel.
