  • Job Background:

    The position is for the Senior Technology Program Manager for Regulatory Programs. This role sits within the larger Citi Global Wealth technology organization. This role requires a passionate, delivery focused, senior leader who has experience leading large complex technology programs and portfolios. The role will be responsible for hands-on program management as well as oversee few related programs led by other program managers in the organization. Key stakeholder communications and reporting is expected across the portfolio.

    Key Responsibilities :

    Program Leadership

    • Providing effective and inspiring leadership, acting as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, actively managing the execution Program Roadmap

    • Identifying opportunities to leverage cross-program strengths to take advantage of new opportunities and/or to address organizational challenges.

    • Formulating and controlling the program roadmap, resources required, anticipated costs, risk assessment, and quality standards to be used. Ensuring timely delivery and withing scope, budget

    • Continuously monitor risk and mitigate as appropriate.

    • Guiding program team members throughout the execution of the program, both technically and organizationally.

    • Ensuring team members adhere to internal policies and procedures.

    • Manage key stakeholders and ensure adequate communications for program execution at all levels of management

    Program Execution

    • Provides early-stage programmatic leadership to define the program structure, outcomes including driving stakeholder alignment.

    • Drives accountability across multiple business, product, and business technology (IT) domains while maintaining positive relationships.

    • Actively drive functional and technical solutions to meet program objectives

    • Ability to navigate and understand a broad group of perspectives and requirements from stakeholder teams and how they all must work together to deliver an end-to-end solution that meets the needs of the collective.

    • Develop a clear understanding of Regulatory Business Requirements

    • Develop all documents in Waterfall SDLC and Agile methodologies to support project delivery. Including but not limited to Project Charter, Project Plan, BRD, FRD, Test Plan, Test Results, UAT Approvals, and Lessons Learned.

    • Develop Program Governance Decks, Program Milestones, RAID log etc.

    • Acting as a "translator" between the Business, Change and Operation & Technology Teams

    • Working with users, business analysts, and developers to understand user and system requirements

    • Explain overall requirements to various Applications Owners and engaged in cross review of functional requirements

    • Ensure delivery on time and within budget

    Skills & Experience needed

    • Minimum 15+ years of technology experience successfully leading large complex technology delivery, programs, projects, and initiatives using a structured approach

    • Bachelor of Science in business or engineering field of study

    • Demonstrates mastery in all aspects of Program and Project Management plan-driven methodology, including

    • Execution Governance / Steering Committees, Monitoring, and Control

    • Scope Management

    • Schedule Management

    • Financial Management

    • Issue & Risk Management

    • Vendor, Contract, & Resources Management

    • Experience with and applying Change Management methodology in projects is highly preferred

    • Data-driven decision-making with the ability to move teams through vague and complex situations

    • Strong presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills

    • PMI PMP certification preferred

    • Banking, financial industry knowledge preferred
