U.S. House advances appropriations package

The U.S. House has advanced a package of six appropriations bills that would fund several federal agencies, including the U.S. Department of Agriculture. The ag appropriations bill includes several provisions; fully funding the Women, Infants and Children Program and giving USDA’s Farm Service Agency more money to better track U.S. foreign ag land ownership.
